Sinful Colors In The Spotlight From The Almost Famous Collection

Finally went back to my local walgreens to see if Sinful Colors had released any new polishes that I would actually wear and I found In The Spotlight from the Almost famous collection! I thought this was perfect for spring & Easter! I first applied one coat and thought it was going to take alot of coats to get whats in the bottle and maybe it was supposed to be a topcoat but Sinful Colors never says whats a polish and whats a topcoat! I applied the 2nd coat and you get whats in the bottle but if you look at the tips of your nails its thick! Thats the only problem I have with this is that is thick and unless you wipe the brush off really good and apply really thin coats. Its so thick in the bottle that the BB has a hard time moving around and you cant shake it! This polish is a frosty mint green base with larger pink, red, fushia, blue, light blue, silver gold, green, yellow, and orange hexagon shaped glitter and green micro glitter! Its like a glitter a party or Easter threw up on your nails, but its so pretty!

Revlon Girly Nail Polish

This isn't a polish I would normally go for but I saw the new Illamasqua polishes like this and I could help myself. This polish has a milky light pink base with purple, light pink, and fushia hexagon glitter with purple, fushia, light pink, and a clear but  purplish blue reflective smaller hexagon glitter. Right off the bat I noticed its really really thin. To get full opacity it took 5 coats. The thing i really like about this polish is that you can see the layers of glitter on your nails. Its almost like jelly. The biggest problem with is the hexagons want to stick to each other! So its not the easiest to apply. I had to add a top coat to get rid of the glitter feel as it is chunky...I could feel and If i didn't topcoat i would pick it off! There were only two other speckled polishes from Revlon and they are in the colors popular (light pink & silver glitter) and Whimsical (light blue & pink glitter), I got this one because I couldn't find Whimsical. I purchased mine at Walmart for $3.99! I love this polish and pink usually isn't my thing!

See the layers of glitter!

In the shade!

Love the way it looks in the bottle!

Simple Oil Balancing Cleansing Wipes Review

I am a huge fan of the regular cleansing wipes. They came out with a few new products recently and I decided to try these. Ill get right to the point. I HATE the smell of these. They are smell like lavender oil, which it contains. I thought lavender was supposed to be irritating! I cant stand that scent. They contain Zinc PCA, and Glycerin. They are supposed to control shine. They don't control shine if you have REALLY oily skin like mine, after about an hour or so I was oily again. They make my skin feel soft though and they don't break me out. These just don't work for me. I'm really disappointed! Sorry Simple!

Garnier Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel-Cream Review

I know this has been out for a while but I needed a new moisturizer and I was tired of the lotion type ones, they break me out! So i was excited to find an actual gel moisturizer, I know it says gel cream but this is a gel. I LOVE gel moisturizers but they aren't easy to find in a drugstore. This is the only one I've seen! This is a mint green colored gel that has a light scent to it. The scent reminds me of Bath & Body Works Rain Kissed Leaves. This is oil free and is supposed to lock in moisture for 24 hours. It contains grape water extract and vitamin e. It helps replenish skin moisture reserve. This is amazing stuff, it helps dry skin so much and this isnt even the dry skin one! This is very cooling and a little goes along way. It leaves your skin so soft and its not greasy once so ever. I almost seems like it melts into your skin and leaves it super soft! It does break me out though. It comes in a 1.7 Ounce glass jar. The glass jar is the only down side for me because I drop everything! The plus is its in a glass jar, Im paranoid about plastic containers and toxins and stuff! I'm weird i know! I paid $6.99 for this at my local target!

This also comes in formula for dry skin, the gel is pink!

®evolution Sweet Ginger Peach Tea Review

I've walked past this tea several time and finally caved! Its made with Estate grown Ceylon and Assam Teas.
I have never heard of either! At first I thought it was going to be just pyramid shaped tea bags in a box but to my surprise it was a resealable bag inside a box! I've never seen anything like it! This tea was really disappointing! I really wanted to like it because I love any tea that's got anything to do with Peach, Im all about Peach teas! This does have a strong flavor its very mild. I  followed the directions and steeped for 4 - 5 minutes! Upon first sip it was almost minty and cooling even though it was hot. I am not a fan of hot tea so i added ice hoping it would taste better and it did a little but has a very light ginger taste but no peach until after you swallow and the peach taste lingers on your tongue for a while after your done with your cup.  I wouldn't buy this specific one again because it really didnt have flavor but I really want to try the Tropical one, I also LOVE pineapple!

Name: ®evolution (Sweet Ginger Peach)
Other Flavors in the 16 count boxes : English Breakfast (Black Tea), Bombay Chai (Black Tea), Earl Grey Lavender (Black Tea), Dragon Eye (Oolong Tea), Acai (Green Tea), Earl Grey (Green Tea), Orange Chocolate (Green Tea), Tropical (Green Tea), Plain Organic Green Tea, Pomegranate (White Tea), Pear (White Tea), HoneyBush Caramel  (Herbal Tea), Southern Mint (Herbal Tea), Golden Chamomile (Herbal Tea)

There are so many other kinds of revolution tea but the ones listed above are in the similar style 16 count boxes but there are other kinds on their website www.RevolutionTea.com  They have also Mini Travel Tins, Spa package gift sets, cups, a book, tea pots, travel mugs, and even some gift bags that come with a box of tea and matching candle! They even have already made sweet tea, You can also order from there as well! This website is a good place to get gifts for Tea Lovers on a budget! I hope i can get my hands on other flavors because grocery store only care this flavor and earl grey! I LOVE trying new tea! Dont worry i wont make a habit out of food posts! Unless you want me to!

P.S. You can click on these photos to make then bigger so you can read them!

This suprised me..Ive never seen tea in a bag!

St.Ives Collagen Elastin Moisturizer Review

I love this moisturizer! Its fantastic for dry skin...which i have from using Benzoyl Peroxide. This is very thick and moisturizing. My favorite this is its not greasy once so ever. It leaves a velvet feel to the skin. It has light smell, its ok...Im not crazy about my face products having scent. Very little goes along away. If i use to much i have to pat my face with my towel to get the excess off because it wont absorb into my skin! It doesnt break me out and Ive been using for a month now. After a month of use I havent really put a dent in it so its going to last a while. It gets rid of my flaky skin. The plus is it has collagen and elastin in it, Im only 23 so I dont see lines and things but other people have said it does wonder for fine lines and wrinkles. The best part of it all is it was $5.00 actually it was less! The only place ive been able to find this is at Walmart!

I was wondering around my local Walgreen's waiting for my mom and found The new Maybelline Spring 2013 collection called Electric Nights. These are supposed to be their brightest, most electric shades ever. The color i got is Intense Teal. Its the only one that stood out to me! The other looked like colors ive seen from other brands that you can buy anytime! This shade is limited edition. Its alot more bright in person. My photos don't do it justice Its alot more green. It goes on almost opaque in 1 coat! It comes in 9 other colors. This color reminds me of a mermaid or a beta fish. Its more green in person. It looks similar if not the same as Nicole by OPI Iceberg Lotus just not at shimmery! It also reminds me of China Glaze Deviently Darling just with out the gold shimmer and duo chrome  This is so hard to describe..Sorry! This reminds me of somthing magical! It dries very fast because I did 3 coats back to back and it dried in just a few minutes. The down side is it takes 3 coats to be opaque! Its a Teal- blue- green color!

Neutrogena Naturals Lip Balm Review

Went shopping and found this....Why am I such a sucker for lip balm! So ive been using this for a few days and I am surprised that I am disappointed. Its a clear balm that's white in the tube. I can't figure out why this has a slight mint scent because its not listed in the ingredients! Its not strong but its there. No where on the package does it say mint. It says Vitamin E bio nutrient balm nourishes and soothes. Protects with essential moisture. The long lasting formula heals dry skin and keeps lips healthy looking. There are NO harsh chemicals, sulfates, parabens, petrochemicals, dyes, or phalates. The cardboard packaging I love but hate. I love it because its made from recycled material but i hate the feeling of cardboard. This product was not tested on animals. I took a picture of the back of the container so you can read it! You can click on any of the photos to see them in full size! I like the product overall, I does help dry lips because mine were cracking open like crazy, but once it wears off your back were you started! Its not worth it! If you have flaky skin on your lips this doesnt help at all!
